A message from NENESCAPE - Landscape and Partnership Scheme:
I am writing to you from River Nene Regional Park. We are working with Kettering Borough Council to facilitate the creation of a Green Infrastructure Delivery Plan for the whole borough, to support the regional and sub-regional green infrastructure plans. There will be ongoing stakeholder engagement with statutory bodies and landowners as well as local community engagement.
In order to ensure we are taking the aspirations of local communities into account and listening to the ideas and opinions of green infrastructure users, we will be holding a few public consultation drop-in events. I have attached a poster with further information and we would be very grateful if you were able to distribute it to public noticeboards, parish magazines and anywhere else your community might be able to see it. We encourage anyone with an interest to come along to any of the workshops (yourselves naturally included in that!) and we look forward to discussing your ideas together. Please also feel free to pass on the poster to local interest groups who use or look after green spaces.
If you or anyone else is unable to come to the drop-in sessions, there is also an online survey here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/YSNQ7MT and we are happy for this link to be circulated. The survey will be live until the end of October to collate as many opinions as possible.
If you or anyone else has any questions, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.
We look forward to meeting you at a drop-in session.
There has been some interest shown from parishes in relation to the East Kettering Development in recent times, so please note that there will be an East Kettering Liaison Forum held at KBC on 7th September from 6.00pm. This is a public meeting and any interested parties are welcome to attend.
